Herrington Lake fishing report — KDFWR — July 25

Lake Level: 739.4
Lake Temperature: mid to lower 80�s degrees F
Water levels are much higher than they have been in the past couple of years. Bass fishing has slowed due to fish moving to deeper summertime habitat. A few fish are being caught deep using a variety of plastic baits. Additionally, a few fish are being caught on points and bluff walls with deep diving crankbaits. Watch for hybrid striped bass and white jumps early and late in the day as they are feeding on shad.
