Taylorsville Lake fishing report — KDFWR — July 25

Lake level: 546.9
Lake Temperature: 84 degrees F.

Good catches of channel catfish and blue catfish are being reported on cut bait fished in 8-15 feet of water fishing near edges of flats and the river channel. Hybrid and white bass jumps continue to be reported to be occurring in the early morning and late evening just before dusk. Largemouth bass fishing has slowed as fish have moved to deeper summertime habitat. Fish structure near creek channels and points with a deep diving crankbait in a shad or natural color. Good catches of bluegill are being taken in the back of creeks and back of cuts around the lake on red worms, meal worms, or crickets.
