Laurel River Lake Fishing report — KDFWR John Williams — July 17
July 18, 2009 by admin
Laurel River Lake
Lake level: 1015 and stable
Lake Surface temperature: 81 degrees F.
Bass fishing has been slow but a few largemouth and smallmouth are being
caught. Try spinner baits, jigs, and soft plastics. Best bet is a
Carolina rigged worm fished 15-20 feet deep on points late in the
evenings.
For walleye, try fishing bottom bouncers with spinner rigs along points
or submerged humps about 20-25 feet deep.
